NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES-Tuesday, FEBRUARY 15th

Looking at an 7-game slate starting at 7:30pm

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays  along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

(Note: All pricing and fantasy points are based on DraftKings but can be used for all sites.)

Always keep an eye on the status of players before lock, especially now. There are still a decent number of players with questionable tags.

NOTES

I will post any updates in Discord prior to lock.

CORE

Clint Capela, ATLANTA HAWKS ($5300)

The Hawks will be down John Collins tonight and this should give Caplela more time on the floor. He has been somewhat limited with minutes as of late playing around 20, but saw a nice boost last game where he hit 31. Consistent over the last three games putting up 28.75 FPs or more and two of those game were in limited minutes. A double-double threat just about every night with the ability to push 20 plus rebounds in the right matchups. No Collins tonight will give him a nice usage/rebound boost. As much as I like Capella tonight he will come in at high ownership. If you are looking for a pivot  or can play both on DK- Montrezl Harrell. Harrell has played very we for the Hornets and gets an excellent matchup tonight.

[spacer height=”20px”]

Oshae Brissett, MILWAUKEE BUCKS ($5400)
Brissett has played 38 and 37 minutes and put up double-doubles over the last two games. The Pacers are still without Miles Turner and Isaiah Jackson and traded away Sabonis. We have seen Brissett do well in his new role with the Pacers and he should continue to do so tonight against the faster paced Bucks. This is also a good matchup for Brissett as the Bucks rank in the bottom 10 against power forwards and centers.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Lance Stephenson,  INDIANA PACERS ($4000)
Mr Stephenson, who keeps finding a way to get it done each night. He is not shy and will take 20 plus shot if given the chance.  This is a matchup where he will do well given he plays 25-30 minutes, which he should with the Pacers now down Chris Duarte.  A faster paced game where he can run and gun. I can see a 20/5/5 game from him tonight with upside in the high 30’s.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Terry Rozier, CHARLOTTE HORNETS ($7900)
Rozier is playing at an elite level as of late putting up a triple-double and just missing one last game. Back-to-back 60 plus FPs performances. This is an excellent matchup for him tonight against the Timberwolves in a fast paced game where he plays well. Patrick Beverly will most likely be guarding LaMelo Ball leaving Rozier to pick up the usage. “Scary” Terry going for a 50 plus 🍔.

Dimes Play

Jalen Smith- saw 23 minutes last game and put up 17/12. He should be in line for solid minutes again tonight.
