NHL DFS: The Slapshot – Jan 30th

With a four game slate tonight the concept of “game theory” is in play more than anything else.  It’s a phrase I’m not that fond of but you get the idea.  With four games and some heavy ownership going into a couple directions we have an easier path to pivot/fade off that top game and capitalize more.

The game of the night is Buffalo at Colorado, which is 99.9% Colorado.  Buffalo is coming off a 3-1 road win last night in Arizona while the Avs were off.

But we do have another couple teams who could benefit tonight, most notably the Blue Jackets vs Canadiens, neither defense is great and both teams are affordable for stacking.

Boone Jenner – Blue Jackets

Jenner has 18 goals on the season and the Habs are 23rd over the last month in goals allowed to opposing centers.

Patrik Laine – Blue Jackets

Simply put, you can tell where I am going with the line lock tonight.  Like the Columbus/Montreal game a good amount.

Devon Toews – Avalanche

Yeah I like Cale Maker just as much as the next guy, but $2100 price difference for someone who is getting as much ice time and will likely be left wide open for a few blasts tonight.  LIke him to get a few more shots than usual and maybe luck into a goal.
