NHL DFS: The Slapshot – Jan 29th

Six games with the Leafs, Bolts and Oilers, so you know we have some pay up decisions to figure out.

Tage Thompson – Sabres

Overall I want some pieces in this game as the Sabres and Coyotes will battle it out like two drunks in a street tonight with some ugly hockey.  We have defensively a couple of the worst teams in the league and the ‘Yotes are on a B2B as well.

Clayton Keller – Coyotes

Similar logic on Thompson, good game stack correlation from the Coyotes side.  LW on the season have done very well vs Sabres.  Granted, a Zamboni Driver probably could score vs Buffalo.

Morgan Reilly – Maple Leafs

Among the ‘big name’ teams tonight I like Toronto the most and its their 2nd line + Morgan Rielly who are the core anchors.

Mitchell Marner – Maple Leafs

This is a stupid price on Marner, 6300 vs Montreal?  Just take him and move on without over thinking it.

OVERALL POSITIONAL RANKINGS

CENTERS

  1. John Tavares
  2. Connor McDavid – Easier to play when you consider Evander Kane is an auto plug and play along side him.
  3. Tage Thompson
  4. Elias Lindholm

[spacer height=”20px”]

WINGS

  1. Mitchell Marner
  2. Clayton Keller
  3. Jeff Skinner
  4. Alex Tuch
  5. Max Pacioretty – Nobody and I mean nobody will have the Knights/Bolts game tonight.  But if any team sneaks up and shocks the slate it would likely be the Knights who are playing really good right now.

VALUE WINGS

  1. Evander Kane – Kane is only $2,500 and will make his Edmonton Debut tonight along side Connor McDavid.  So either he is 100% owned or DK pulls the plug on the slate.  One of the two is fairly certain to happen because there is no way you are cashing without him IMO.
  2. Martin Necas

DEFENSE

  1. Morgan Rielly
  2. Shayne Gostisbehere
  3. Quinn Hughes
  4. Jeff Petry
