NHL DFS: The Slapshot – Sat, Jan 1st

The New Year kicks off with the Blues and Wild featured in -7 degree weather in Minnesota on a small main 4 game slate.

We also have the return of Canadien teams as the Senators/Leafs/Canucks are all on the slate.

CENTERS

Anze Kopitar – Kings – $7,000

While AM34 gets the obvious “Data” play against the Senators, the player who I think is a key tonight is going to be Kopitar as the Flyers-Kings is the top game that I have interest in overall.  The Flyers are without Couturier and that should benefit Kopitar a ton.

Auston Matthews – Leafs – $9,400

Tim Stuetzel – Senators – $4,200 — Good value here on Stuetzel

Kevin Hayes – Flyers – $3,500

WINGS

Vlad Tarasenko – Blues – $7,600

Look for the wingers in the outdoor game to have the biggest advantage and Tarasenko has been on fire of late + is in a spot where he should have open space to get the SOG volume needed for his price.

Alex Iafallo – Kings – $5,900

Mats Zuccarello – Wild – $5,500

Mitchell Marner – Leafs – $7,200

Joel Farabee – Flyers – $3,300

DEFENSE

Quinn Hughes – Canucks – $5,300

Drew Doughty – Kings – $6,100

TJ Brodie – Leafs – $2,800

Torey Krug – Blues – $4,900

LINE LOCK OF THE NIGHT

LA Kings:   Kopitar – Iafallo – Doughty

FAVORITE GAME STACKS

Flyers vs Kings & Senators vs Leafs

Basically going Hayes-Farabee as a value 2 man combo with the line lock is the value spot to find tonight to pair with an AM34-Marner correlation.  I would not over invest in stacking that Blues/Wild game and don’t like the Canucks/Kraken much either tonight.  So it’s Flyers/Kings and Senators/Leafs
