A HUGE contest and slate on DraftKings tonight, lots of money to be made out there on the ice. One thing I will caution tonight is that your lineup is not going to fit together like a puzzle, it’s going to be about picking the main heavy spot to anchor your lineup and so don’t try to use this article as I’m gonna just walk through and button mash every name listed first here — that just won’t work. It’s a good 2+2+2 or build around 4/5 players from a single team if you are taking down a larger field tourney tonight. Not 3&3.

Roope Hintz – Stars
Getting some exposure on the Stars tonight is pretty logical. Montreal is almost an automatic 4 goals allowed every night and ranks 30th over the last month plus against centers.
Alex Ovechkin – Capitals
I like a high scoring game between the Jets and Caps tonight. Washington isn’t defending well in the 2nd period which has lead to Ovi having to do more shooting in close games in the third period of games. His SOG bonus + having Backstrom and Kuzy on the PP with him together is going to result in a scenario where Ovechkin doesn’t disappoint you tonight.
Thomas Chabot – Senators
Chabot has been good lately (10+ fppg) and the Sabres allow a slate high 34.2 SOGa per game.

Buffalo Sabres vs Ottawa Senators
Jeff Skinner, Rasmus Dahlin
Brady Tkachuk, Thomas Chabot
A lot of ownership should go over to the Sens stack and also their goalie but Buffalo’s top line is the sharp play here. Or at least that is what we tell ourselves before the slate on a random Tuesday in January and come Friday this week nobody will ever remember it. Unfortunately Buffalo is without top line Center Tage Thompson tonight due to COVID protocols and Canadian restrictions, those bastards… So we need to wait and see what the new Buffalo lines are but it’s Jeff Skinner and Rasmus Dahlin who I would lock in from the Buffalo side. OTT1 is chalky for sure with Defenseman Thomas Chabot as a nice pairing here too.
Winnipeg Jets
Scheifele, Ehlers, Copp, Morrissey
Caps are struggling to defend in the second period once again and Ehlers is shooting a ton which draws me onto this line with Scheifele and Copp along side him.
Dallas Stars
Hintz, Pavelski, Peterson, Heiskanen
Dallas is welcoming in the disaster that is Montreal defense. Highly expect the Stars to score 4+ tonight because that’s just how the Habs roll.
Tampa Bay Lightning
Point, Kucherov, Perry, Hedman
The Kings are on a back to back which is the main reason I am writing up Tampa. I don’t want anyone here as a one off tonight but if you want to just play the last stack on the slate and wake up to all the money then this is the best recipe.
With Corey Perry on the top line (projected) he’s basically a free square at $2900 in this stack, he has 4 goals & 4 assists and returns to a land familiar to him from his Anaheim Ducks says.
