• On a short slate, Matthews heads back to his home state looking to punish one of the leagues worst defensive teams. Heading into last night AM34 had 22 goals and 36 points in 30 games. Arizona has allowed four goals in each of its last two games and allows 3.79 per game, most in the league.

W David Pastrnak (BOS)

• The Bruins come in scorching hot with 12 goals in their last two games and Pasta has contributed with four of those scores. Montreal is a team in a bad way right now coming off a long layoff with a 7-23-4 record. This one could get ugly in a hurry. The top guys for Boston may very well control this game, Pasta included as he’s logged 14 goals in 20 career games against Montreal.
