Key Skaters

C Aleksander Barkov (FLA)

• Over the past month, the Dallas Stars have allowed the third-most DraftKings points per game to the center position, spanning nine games. Barkov has been aggressive of late with two goals in his last four games and is coming off a seven-shot effort his last time out. At $6,900 Barkov is in a spot to exceed his salary. The Panthers come in scorching hot with four straight wins with a total of 24 goals over that span with five or more scores in three of those four games.

W David Pastrnak (BOS)

• After a long drought for his standards, Pastrnak logged an overdue goal in his last game as he had simply been a victim of bad luck of late. Before that goal, he had gone nine games scoreless even though he had 68 shot attempts and 33 scoring chances over that span. Minnesota’s defense has been shaky as they’re coming off a game in which they allowed six goals to the Blues. In the game before that, although they had a long layoff in between, they allowed seven goals.

W Patrick Kane (CHI)

Chicago takes on one of the worst defensive teams in the league and their best player, Kane is due as he’s gone 10 games without a goal dating back to December 5. Kane has 14 shots over his last three games and Arizona has allowed the third-most DraftKings points per game to the right-wing position this season.

Favorite Line Stacks

Calgary Flames

Elias Lindholm, Matthew Tkachuk, Johnny Gaudreau

• The top forward line for the Flames has been one of the best in the league statistically this season with an expected goal per 60 rate of 3.42, the third-highest mark in the league among lines with at least 200 minutes of ice time together. Calgary’s side is the contrarian one in this game against Tampa on the road but in a fast-paced affair with the Flames’ top line efficiency, the payoff could be massive.

Chicago Blackhawks

Jonathan Toews, Alex Debrincat, Patrick Kane, Seth Jones

• Toews and Debrincat skate on the second line together while Kane is the focal scoring option on the top line. All three forwards along with defenseman Seth Jones correlate on the top power-play unit and will be facing one of the most penalized teams in the NHL with one of the worst penalty kills.

Colorado Avalanche

Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen, Gabriel Landeskog

• This is obviously a stack that will cost a pretty penny but one that could explode against a vulnerable Winnipeg Jets defense. The Avs have scored four goals in each of their last two games with the top line factoring heavily in those tallies. When stacking against the Jets there’s always the worry that Connor Hellebuyck will stand on his head for Winnipeg as he’s done so many times but it’ll be a tough task even for one of the best goalies in the world to stop this top line.
