AM34’s recent form has been less than stellar with just one point in his last two games, yes, that’s a cold spell for him. Fear not, though, because Toronto is back at home after a lengthy six-game road trip and I expect a little urgency out of the Leafs and Matthews against Anaheim who has had struggles on the road.
W Matthew Tkachuk (CGY)
Calgary is coming off of a 7-1 beatdown against the Blues on Monday night and now they hit the road to take on the Blue Jackets who are allowing 3.54 goals per game (28th in the league) and 34.6 shots per game (30th). Tkachuk has been playing out of his mind, notably coming off a five-assist game. Prior to that outburst, Tkachuk had recorded points in four straight with multiple point efforts three times.
