W David Pastrnak (BOS)

• Pasta has gone without a goal in eight straight games but gets a matchup against a team whom he’s had success against in the past. In 20 career games against Detroit, Pastrnak has 10 goals and 10 assists on 70 shots. Despite Detroit holding its own on defense for most of the season, this is a matchup where the upside of Pastrnak and his ability to take over a game could reign supreme.

Timo Meier (SJ)

• Meier continues to put pucks on net at a high rate leading the league in shots per 60 at 5v5. He’s also second in scoring chances per 60 at 5v5 and second in high-danger scoring chances per 60 at 5v5. This game against Pittsburgh should have a good pace full of scoring chances and Meier will generate plenty of chances in a wide-open game like this.
