Tonight brings a 10 game slate starting at 7p.m. ET.
The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with a few additional plays and a few value plays. You won’t always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. Players listed first at each position are my favorite and a good start to build a lineup around.
(Note: All pricing and fantasy points are based on DraftKings but can be used for all sites.)
The NBA is in a tough spot right now with a few teams getting hit hard with COVID. The Heat, Magic, Bucks, Kings and Lakers are all down players.
Players are dropping as the day goes on……….
Keep an eye on the injury status of players as they can be ruled out right before lock.

Game/s to Target
Hawks/Blazers
Hornets/Wizards- both sides in the bottom 10 defensively.

CORE
Naz Reid (PF/C), Minnesota Timberwolves ($4800)
Towns is still listed out and now that Reid is back he will continue to play solid minutes at the center position. Last game he pushed 30 minutes and delivered 38.9 FPs with 23 points and 11 rebounds. An excellent producer when on the court averaging 1.2 FPPM. Love the matchup for Reid tonight as the Clippers are a team that I have been targeting bigs against ,especially now with Zubac out. Reid has a good shot to play 30 plus minutes in a plus matchup tonight and he comes in as one of the better values on my model.

Daniel Theis (PF/C), Houston Rockets ($3500)
The Rockets will be without their starting center Christian Wood tonight as well as the back-up Alperen Sengun. This opens up starting spots and minutes for Daniel Theis and KJ Martin. Both of these players hit 27 plus minutes last game and should play a similar role. Theis is the has the bigger body and should see more time at center going against Joel Embiid. His price is the key here and at only 3.5K and the potential to push 30 minutes Theis has a good chance to hit value plus. I am expecting a good game from him against the Sixers who rank 19th in overall defensive efficiency. He projects as the 5th best value option for tonight.

Anfernee Simons (PG/SG), Portland Trailblazers ($4100)
The Blazers have been without CJ McCollum and they are now without their other star Damian Lillard. Also, Jusif Nurkic is listed as doubtful. Simons should pick up the start and has the potential to play 35 plus minutes in a plus matchup as the Hawks rank 27th in defensive efficiency. The kid is not afraid to shoot and come close to 20 shot attempts when without Lillard and McCollum. This price is too cheap for minutes, matchup and usage he will get tonight.
