Before you ask, here is the content schedule for the MLB playoffs
I will do an overview on the entire playoff bracket once it is set after this weekend and any play in games that are required. In that article I will cover my thoughts on what will likely be two showdown slates for the two wild card games and who the players are to consider, there will not be a specific article for each one of those but the Dashboard/Tools and Discord will always be open.
The big article is October 8th — next Friday. When we have the best day of the month with four Divisional Round games (two game 1’s and two game 2’s) going all day long. Any slate there after with four games on it (rare) will be a full Dongers Club article.
For the two and three game slates through the Divisional Round we’ll have a quick cheat sheet style article and then the showdown slates are Dashboard/Discord thoughts only.
It has been a pleasure as always to write about Baseball and I know int he final month things kind of feel repetitive and slow, but I cannot wait to make things even better next April.

It’s fine.
- Sandy Alcantara – Sandy has been great at home all season long, should have no pitch limitations and is facing a team who just got eliminated from playoff contention and is now in South Beach for the final weekend of the season. If that doesn’t get you all jazzed up then I don’t know what will.
- Marco Gonzalez – After seeing Sandy vs the Phillies I just immediately made a bee-line for who the Mariners are playing… Where are they… Who’s pitching… Just don’t be Kikuchi. Hot damn, its Marco, their best possible option right now to come out and just cruise through 6 innings cleanly against a bad offense.
Our work here is done. This is the easy part tonight in my mind.
Toronto Blue Jays
Toronto’s turn to beat up on the Orioles, what the Red Sox could not do. Fortunately if you want to fade the likely chakly Jays, they are the home team here and not in Camden but unfortunately for you, they’re facing Tom Eshelman.

LA Dodgers
Corey Seager is reminding everyone that he is about to get paaaaaid. LA still technically would like to win out the division and Eric Lauer… LOL. Ok, sure. That’s not going to end well for Milwaukee.
Colorado
Hot damn, Rockies and Diamondbacks in Chase Field with the roof open in a meaningless game that will probably wind up having garbage pitchers and 13 runs scored. I say this and in reality it’s the game tomorrow that could be a 18-14 final but load up on the Rockies here as Trevor Story maybe has ONE more good game in him tonight in a park he loves.
