As always the MLB schedule on Saturday includes afternoon games and as always FanDuel just can’t make one normal sized afternoon slate. This comes a week after they included the night games on the main afternoon slate. What a company.
The Mets vs Nationals game is going to be a 7 inning game.
WEATHER
All games will play, some lingering showers in a few spots but nothing that is major or significant.
Alek Manoah
Manoah will make his 5th Major League start today and his fourth on the road so far. He has pitched really well in the three previous road games against quality teams (Yankees, White Sox, Red Sox) throwing 17 innings (no less than 5 in each of them), 16 strikeouts, just 5 walks (good for a rookie) and 0 HR. Today he gets the Baltimore Orioles and their weakness vs RHP from a strikeout perspective and thus I expect him to have a really good start.
Domingo German
Pitching this afternoon is not easy, and German is not coming off a great start against the Phillies last weekend but is someone who I think has some good upside today vs Oakland.
Alex Wood
Wood and Nola square off in a 1PM early game out in San Francisco, I don’t usually roster Nola in a road day game and against the Giants I am not rushing to touch him here either, but Wood I play Alex, absolutely I could.

All we can do is put on a straight face and trust what we know. We know the Jays sucked for the first five innings last night, and then blew for the last four, but we also know they are a great offense in a great park against a weak pitching staff and Dean Kremer has never been one to put the fear or God into an offense.
ROYALS
Dozier, Mondesi, Whit
KC matches up extremely well against Martin Perez, they’ve hit him in the past and it’s going to be a very warm game today in Kauffman stadium once again which really plays the park well in a day game. This game projects as the most likely to have a 13-10 result in it and the Royals side will produce just as much as the obvious Boston side.
RED SOX
Verdugo, Martinez, Devers, X
Uh yeah, Boston vs no matter what KC rolls out again is in a better bounce back spot. Should see some HR power in this game on their side too.
RANGERS
Gallo, Holt, Lowe
Randy Dobnak is arguably the worst pitcher going today and he gets hammered by Lefties. Gallo will go yard.
