You know the NHL season is in full swing when we have these nice Sunday evening slate of games and today’s is not one to disappoint with seven games on it. There are quite a few back to back contests once again as the USA divisions continue to play back to back contests in the same arena.

STACKS
SAN JOSE SHARKS
Tomas Hertl – Evander Kane – Timo Meier
Two teams who are playing well offensively will meet once again after they failed to hit the over on Friday night. The top line of the Sharks is too talented to be held down in back to back games after registering a -3 on Friday night. Love them and love this gamestack.
Correlate with: Good game for defenseman from both teams (Spurgeon and Karlsson) and a few Wild one offs (Fiala, Parise, Johansson, Kaprizov)
NEW YORK RANGERS
Ryan Strome – Artemi Panarin – Pavel Buchnevich
These three saw over 20 minutes of ice time on Friday vs Pittsburgh and put 10 SOG without registering a goal. With Casey DeSmith projected in net for the Penguins today this is the first place to start on all your lineups today. I expect the Rangers to win this game and to do so with 4+ goals tonight. Getting production from this bread line will be a critical way for them to achieve those targets
Correlate with: Adam Fox on D from the top PP with Panarin and Strome.
NEW JERSEY DEVILS
Jack Hughes – Kyle Palmieri – Yegor Sharangovich
The Devils were wiped off the slate on Thursday night when these two teams met on Long Island as they simply couldn’t keep up with the much better Islanders team. But there’s a ton of value still with the Devils top line who I expect to bounce back at home. Jack Hughes and Yegor Sharagovich are young and will make mistakes still, but as is the case with most young players they’ve clearly been better in their two home games so far this season and I expect the home last line change to benefit them again today to get some favorable match-ups.
Correlate with: Brock Nelson & Josh Bailey (NYI)
POSITIONAL ONE OFFS
These are plays not mentioned as part of the stacks above.
Leon Draisaitl (EDM) – $6,800
Draisaitl is an $8,000 star with 3 point upside who we are getting at sub 7k in a very fast paced game environment. This is a no brainer spot where you’ll want Edmonton exposure and rather than burning salary with inconsistent line mates around him or McDavid I would just focus on the Oilers stars tonight. Draisaitl can be considered a value play considering his upside.
Other top centers: Brock Nelson, Mark Scheifele, Anze Kopitar
Jakob Silfverberg (ANA) – $4,000
The Ducks might not be a great team, but they’re really going to struggle if they don’t find a way to get some pucks on net. Silfverberg wasn’t shooting at all until he took 5 shots last game against the Avalanche and typically a goal per 5 game scorer, he’s been shutout to start the season. This is a nice value one off that I would focus on with stacks today.
Other top wings: Jake Guentzel, Evander Kane, Kevin Fiala, David Perron, Jaden Schwartz, Kirill Kaprizov,
Jared Spurgeon (MIN) – $3,900
Spurgeon has the highest xGoal rate of Wild defenseman on the power-play and the Sharks over the last two seasons have ranked near the bottom in allowing points to opposing defenseman. His price being below $4k tonight is a steal.
Other top defenseman: Erik Karlsson, Torey Krug, Adam Fox, Darnell Nurse
GOALIES
Pekka Rinne (NSH) – $7,400
In DFS and Sports we have to have a short memory. The Predators had one of the worst games against a team making their season debut historically when they got blanked 7-0 vs the Stars on Friday night. Erase that from your memory and roll out the Predators goalie tonight.
John Gibson (ANA) – $7,100
Another contrarian value play to consider. Gibson should face a ton of shots and I like the Ducks to pull off the upset.
SLAP … SHOTS!
LINE LOCK OF THE NIGHT: Tomas Hertl – Evander Kane – Timo Meier (Sharks)
ONE OFF STUD: Leon Draisaitl (Oilers)
CONTRARIAN ONE OFF: Anze Kopitar (Kings)
ONE OFF VALUE WINGER: Jakob Silfverberg (Ducks)
TOP DEFENSE-MAN: Jared Spurgeon (Price considered he is top)
GPP FADE TEAM OF THE NIGHT: Colorado
